What terrific remembrances!! Thanks so much for posting them. Reading them brought back a flood of memories. In the late 30s and early 40s I quite often rode the streetcar from Ferguson to the corner of Taylor and Olive in St. Louis where my father had a book store. My favorite part of the ride was going by the banks of Ramona Lake.
